Accountability, not efficiency
Accountability for the mundane tasks.
The boring stuff still has to get done. Shirkl keeps a plain record of every recurring task, whether it was done, late or overdue, so no one gets to quietly skip it.
SK-01What it is
Shirkl isn't here to make you faster or better. It's here to make the repetitive stuff less painful, by putting it on a record you can't ignore.
You set a task that repeats. You say who's on the hook. Each time it comes round, it gets marked done, or it sits there unmarked, on the record, forever.
SK-02The record
Every cycle ends up one colour, and it stays that way.
- DoneFinished on time.
- Done, lateFinished, but after the deadline.
- PendingNot done yet. The clock is running.
- OverdueMissed. It stays on the record.
No streaks to break. No badges to earn. Just the truth, kept.
SK-04How it works
- 1Name a recurring task, and say how often it repeats.
- 2Add the people on the hook, by email.
- 3Pick a rule: everyone must do it (AND), or any one person is enough (OR).
- 4Each cycle, mark it done, or don't.
- 5The record is permanent. Shirkl never reminds you.
